What went right?
The most important thing with baking is to ensure that you measure all ingredients carefully.
Never use eggs out of the Fridge, always use at room temperature.
Use butter at room temperature for lighter cakes
Don't get mixture on the edges of the cupcake case: it will burn and may stop the cake rising evenly.
If your oven has hotspots - turn the tin around after 10 minutes.
TOP TIPS FOR CUPCAKES
use paper cases that fit the cake tins snugly, or they'll either spread too much or wrinkle up. Sizes aren't standardised, so measure your tins cup size before buying cases.

Answer: Too hot an oven or baked too high in the oven.
Question: Hollow top
Answer: overbeating. Insufficient or too slow cooking time. Oven door slammed or tin too small.

Answer: Not enough mixing or oven too cool.
Question Air pockets
Answer: Mixture too dry. Mixture not all poured into tin at one time.
